David Bradley’s nose for trouble doesn’t fail him when on a clandestine assignment in southern Zimbabwe he inadvertently discovers a military convoy carrying a cargo of shipping containers. Unable to establish the nature of the contents he records the containers’ identification marks. As he and his colleague withdraw from the area Bradley sustains an injury which not only alerts the guards to his presence but severely impedes his mobility; however, he manages to escape but only just. This affront is the latest in a series of escapades which ensures Bradley remains public enemy number one so far as the Zimbabwe intelligence organisation is concerned.
