Book formatting
You don’t need to worry about any technical specifications that the printers require as we take care of formatting your manuscript to the correct specifications.
We will format your manuscript to a professional standard which will include:
- Resizing the pages to your chosen paperback format
- Format margins to printer standards
- Adding / formatting title and intro pages
- Adding / formatting copyright page
- Adding / formatting headers and page numbers
- Formatting chapter headings
- Formatting the main text to the appropriate font/size
- Fomratting the line spacing and paragraph indents
- Adding table of contents (if author wishes)
- Ensuring that the manuscript conforms to our consistent house style.
Cover
You don’t need to worry about designing a cover or finding someone to do the layout of your cover. We will design a professional custom made front and back colour cover. Each cover we design is unique. We will add your book's “blurb” (book description) to the back cover. You may provide us with your own images* to be used on the front and / or back cover including an author photo. If you don’t have any images for the cover, this is fine as our designer will use our own professional photo / images to design your cover (we have a image library of over 1 million images to choose from). We will make your cover to the required printer standards.

ISBN
No need for you to register with the ISBN agency, which in the UK costs around £100. Our package cost includes the ISBN for your book, and because we already have pre-registered ISBN’s we can assign one to your book immediately. (Why have an ISBN? Retailers/bookstores require every book they sell to have an ISBN number.)
Printers
You don’t need to worry about finding a printer, as once you have confirmed your proofs that we send you we will then send your book to our printers who are in the UK and US. Our printers are fast and print to a very high standard.
Your book will be printed on demand (printed when ordered) and will be printed in the UK or US, depending on where the order originates e.g. If your friend in the US orders your book from Amazon.com, it will be printed in the US.
Distribution
When you self-publish you would have to work on getting your book distributed to retailers and wholesalers. But when you go with us we will do this for you by adding your book to our distribution list. This will mean that your book will be available to wholesalers / online retailers in the US and UK.

Your time
When you publish by yourself a lot of time can be taken up in learning all of the required technical specifications, finding a printer and finding out how to get your book to online retailers and major wholesalers. But by using us we will free up your time as we will deal with the book formatting, cover, printers and distribution.
